On December 19, 2024, Andrea Hullan, founder of R A Y' S Studios was handing over three minibuses and HUF 5 million donation to Gábor Sztehlo children's homes . The event marks both the end of an era and a new beginning. At the end of this year, the operation of the Seedling Trust will be closed, but R A Y will remain "on duty" as a highly qualifed Qi gong instructor to benefit many more beings.

The story began more than a decade ago, at an unexpected moment. "When we moved to the vicinity of Normafa with my family in Budapest, I often saw disabled children standing behind fences on Széchenyi Hill during my runs. I learned that they live in a state children's homes and their lives are incredibly difficult. During one of my runs, I fell over and that was a sign. I established Seedling Trust and started running marathons all around the world. Completed over 37,000 km’s (11 full and 50 half marathons) and raised over hundreds of million HUF over a decade."

Charity running became a must completed task in Hungary

R A Y (then Andrea Snow) was the very first charity runner who completed the New York City Marathon in 2009 raising over 5 million HUF donation with her first run. Then the initiative of Team Heart - Seedling Trust grew into a nationwide movement in Hungary. Thousands of runners started running for a good cause. Since it’s launch in 2009, the foundation has regularly organized programs and enriched disadvantaged children's everyday lives with events. The most memorable were the Christmas celebrations at the Four Seasons Gresham Hotel in Budapest.

"For three years, the hotel management provided fantastic experiences for the children, crowning the festive season with delicious snacks, beautiful toys and special guests. These days were heaven for all of us," said R A Y.

Start of a new era

Team Heart - Seedling Trust leaves behind a symbolic legacy: the movement inspires all those who believe that huge changes can be achieved with small steps.

"The will to give is a way of life for me, and this was embodied in the foundation work. Now it's time for me to continue my path a bit differently," said R A Y, who is now devoting her energy to Calligraphy Health system to those whom are struggling with mental or physical problems.

R A Y helps her clients to find harmony physically, mentally, and emotionally with Qi gong, Nei gong, and Martial Arts system called Callygraphy Health. R A Y as always is very supportive and empathetic, she teaches in a very unique exclusive environment, both in Pest and Buda in Hungary and also holds retreats at her sanctuary in Italy.
